Privacy Policy

Data stored on your device

The app stores vehicle names and optional licence plates, places and saved spots, parking floors, zones, spot numbers, notes, times, photos, optional coordinates and your app preferences. The app and its widgets use a shared storage area on the same device. This does not share data with other people or devices.

Location, photos and text recognition

Location access is optional. With permission, a new parking entry can use a current location. A Shortcuts parking question can attempt a brief location fix at its trigger and keep a valid recent coordinate. ParkPin does not continuously track your journey or request Always location access. If location is unavailable, you can choose a saved place or enter a new spot manually.

Camera access is used only when taking a photo. The system photo picker gives the app the photos you select, not unrestricted access to your library. Vision OCR processes selected images on the device. Saved photos do not expire automatically after a set retention period.

Widgets, reminders and the Lock Screen

Widgets, local notifications, Live Activities and the Dynamic Island can show parking details and a question asking whether to record parking. These displays may be visible to someone looking at your device. You control their permissions and visibility in iPhone settings. ParkPin does not use server push notifications for these features.

Optional Apple services

Map display, address or building searches and walking directions use Apple services and may require an internet connection. Search text, the map area and coordinates needed for those features may be sent to Apple. These requests are separate from local record storage; you can save without obtaining a location or waiting for a map.

Apple handles the App Store purchase and its payment information. ParkPin does not receive your payment card details or implement in-app purchases. Siri, Shortcuts and any device-level Apple backup services are also governed by your Apple settings and Apple’s policies.

Export, import and deletion

Your explicit ParkPin backup is a JSON file containing records, vehicles, places, saved spots and saved photo files, including any stored locations and licence plates. ParkPin does not password-protect or encrypt this export. A location or file provider you choose in Files may store or transfer it under its own terms.

ParkPin offers no automatic server backup or recovery. Export before deleting the app or losing access to the device. Device-level backups, if enabled separately, are managed by Apple; ParkPin cannot guarantee their availability or restore records for you.

You can edit and delete records in the app. Deleting a record also removes its photos when no other record uses them. Removing a vehicle from the list preserves its past records and archived vehicle information, including in backups. Exported copies remain wherever you saved or shared them and must be managed separately.

Email support

When you open Contact in the app, a draft is prepared locally with the app version/build, device model, iOS version, app and system language/region, time zone, display mode, text size and floor-label preference. You can edit or remove these details. Nothing is emailed until you send it.

An email you send to [email protected] contains your sender address, message and any attachments you choose. Parking records, photos, precise locations, device names, unique device identifiers and logs are not attached automatically. We use support correspondence to answer your request and troubleshoot the app; it is not used for advertising. You can ask about access, correction, retention or deletion at the same address.

This support website

Opening parkpin.moneymoa.net is an online request. The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages and delivered through Cloudflare, which may process your IP address, requested page, request time and browser information to deliver and protect the site. This website has no ParkPin login, advertising or form that uploads parking data. Any technical service processing is separate from the records stored in the app.

Material changes to how ParkPin handles information will be reflected here with an updated date; applicable privacy rights remain unaffected.
